Inspiring innovation from tradition

Alain Touwaide will be among the speakers of Life & Literature, a Conference organized by the Biodiversity Heritage Library, a consortium of 12 natural history and botanical libraries that have worked together to digitize the legacy literature of biodiversity in support of research and science.

The Conference will be hosted by the Field Museum, Chicago, IL, USA, on November 14 and 15, 2011, and it will cover such themes as biodiversity informatics, publishing models, digital libraries, and humanistic and artistic intersections with biodiversity literature.

Registration (USD 100.00) is now open and is being processed through the Field Museum's ticketing service.
