Alain Touwaide has been awarded a Visiting Professorship at La Sapienza University, Rome, Italy, for the period November 15-December 31, 2018. He will be based in the Department of History of Medicine and his research will revolve around the Epidemiology of Antiquity, focusing on ancient Rome.
