As an Associate Organization of the Renaissance Society of America, the Institute will contribute to the 59th Annual Meeting of the RSA with a roundtable entitled "Thesaurus Pharmacopolarum": A Multilingual Lexicon of Materia Medica Terminology". The event is organized by Scientific Director Alain Touwaide, and will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013, 10:30am-12:00pm.

Alain Touwaide will deliver a public lecture entitled "Greek Medicine from Unknown Manuscripts: a Legacy for the Future". The event is organized by the Hellenic Cultural Society of San Diego and the Daughters of Penelope, and will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2013, at 2:00pm.
